Anonymous, the background color of input[type=file] seems to be insisted on by the browser and CSS can't override. Try removing the text color ("color") from input[type=file] in darkroom.css.

I'm using "darkroom" out of the box...when uploading a file from the admin section, the text can't be read, it must be using a light color...more...
